Are you a Danish company with solutions for more resource-efficient, circular and sustainable industry? Clean invites Danish SMEs to a session in Copenhagen with key South African organisations working directly with companies and industrial areas on industrial symbiosis, cleaner production and green industrial development.
The meeting takes place in connection with the RESYM project – Resource Efficiency through Industrial Symbiosis in the Western Cape, a Danish Energy Agency co-funded project connecting Danish industrial symbiosis expertise with South Africa’s Western Cape Industrial Symbiosis Programme (WISP).
Meet the South African delegation
- Atlantis Special Economic Zone (ASEZ): a green-tech focused Special Economic Zone and eco-industrial park in the Atlantis industrial area, near Cape Town
- National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa (NCPC-SA): a national government initiative supporting South African industry with resource-efficient and cleaner production, energy, water, materials and waste management.
- GreenCape: a green-economy sector development agency and delivery organisation for the Western Cape Industrial Symbiosis Programme (WISP).

About RESYM
RESYM connects Danish industrial symbiosis expertise with partners in South Africa’s Western Cape. The visiting delegation represents organisations active in industrial symbiosis facilitation, eco-industrial parks, resource-efficient production and green economic development. During the week of 25-30 October 2026, the delegation will visit Denmark for meetings and site visits in Copenhagen and Kalundborg.
